Sonia Daniels was born in Ipswich, England, a small town outside of London. She and her twin sang together as children and actually won a talent contest at barely nine years of age. Sonia moved to Mobile, Alabama in 1972 and was raised in the church by her paternal grandparents. These two impacted her life tremendously and insisted on her taking piano lessons and regularly attending their local church. It would be the start of her relationship with God as well as Gospel music. Sonia graduated from the University of South Alabama with a degree in Finance, and enjoyed a 26 year career in the Property tax field. As a full time tax professional, Sonia still managed to moonlighted as a church musician/soloist and was invited to participate on many church programs in the Gulf Coast area. She has recorded with Joe Pace of the Colorado Mass choir and many other artists in the local area. She is a life-long member of Mobile’s Premiere gospel singing group Nu Image. Sonia currently assists with the music ministry of the Nazaree Full Gospel Church of Mobile, and also plays piano part-time at other local churches. Sonia was privileged to travel to Italy at the end of 2019 singing background with Sonya Williams & The Voices. It was a world wind 3 week tour which allowed her to reach audiences further than she could imagine. She released her First Solo CD Project in 2016 called “Finally” and has recently released two songs, “You Love Me”, and her newest single "Sunday Morning". Sunday Morning reflects things that Sonia remembers while preparing to make her way to church on Sundays while growing up. All of the music was written by Sonia and produced right here in Mobile and can be found on most digital outlets.
Sonia loves God and just wants people to know of His love for us and the peace only He can bring. “May God give you his peace on Sunday Morning and Everyday".
